Tension Control Bolts Ltd have supplied M12 & M16 TCBs to GE Alstom Power globally for use in electrostatic precipitators. Rappers (mechanical hammers or anvils) are used in this design to transmit strong shearing & impact forces to collecting plates in order to release deposited dust particles.

To withstand these forces M12 & M16 TCBs replaced Huck Bolts as well as welded nuts. These have been installed in Siberia, Brazil, Poland, Peru, Chile and globally wherever GE Alstom Power are constructing or maintaining their power plants.
