TCB have supplied over 450,000 Tensions Control Bolts to the SeAH monopile Factory in Teesside. SeAH Wind, a subsidiary of South Korean steel manufacturer SeAH, will produce between 100 and 150 monopiles per year.

Upon completion, this will be the largest monopile facility in the world, measuring an impressive 810m x 210m, and creating up to 750 direct jobs and a further 1,500 jobs in the supply chain.

The giant building will be the first of its kind in the UK, taking a huge step in a positive direction for renewable energy. We are proud to support important projects that actively drive us towards the goal of NET zero.

Severfield have provided an impressive 35,000 tonnes of structural steelwork for the superstructure making this one of the largest projects they’ve been involved with to date. Deploying 150 people to work on-site, their Teams have been erecting 1000 tonnes of steelwork per week.
