M30 TCBs & TCB Studs have been installed by Inter-Steels Ltd in support of Bank Station Capacity Upgrade (BSCU). The Docklands Light Railway and no less than 5 underground lines serve Bank and the adjoining Monument station. This is one of the largest subterranean railway complexes in the world with 123,000 commuters at peak times using the 3 ticket halls, 10 platforms, 15 escalators, moving walkways at the same time. To alleviate congestion and ramp up capacity Transport For London (TFL) have invested heavily.

There are 200 engineers on site 24 hours per day until 2021! During improvements the stations are operational. Most of the construction work is taking place below ground to minimise adverse disruptive construction impacts. A new platform & tunnel for Northern line is being constructed below ground, but above the DLR tunnels. Tricky!
The M30 TCBs were deployed in huge steel trusses and in crane bases.
