The new headquarters for the state oil company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is currently under construction in the capital city of Baku.
Tekfen are one of Turkey's leading companies. Their construction division are installing Greenkoted TCB's in the erection of the 32 story, 173 metre high structure.
Designed by Heerim consultants of Seoul, the structure will stand on Heyder Aliyev Avenue. It has been designed to withstand Baku's strong winds and the high level of seismic activity in the area.
The curved shape of the building will resemble a flame. Azerbaijan is known as "the land of fire".
