Dubbed New Zealand’s meeting Place for the world, the NZICC in Auckland is the largest and most versatile conference, exhibition and entertainment space in New Zealand. Comprised of 8,500 tonnes of structural steel and over 20,000 TCBs. These tension bolted connections consist primarily of M30 TCBs for truss connections. The TCBs were installed by Culham Engineering Co Ltd and supplied by Australasia’s leading fastener distributer Konnect Fastening Systems for Greenkote® TCBs. Konnect Fastener Systems are part of Coventry Group Ltd and are TCB Ltd‘s designated & preferred fastener distributer for NZ & Australia.

The structural fabrication of the NZICC Project was completed by CH Steel which is a joint venture between Culham Engineering Co Ltd and Thai Herrick Co Ltd.

Greenkote® anti-corrosion protection

Tension Control Bolts Ltd has its own metal coating plant producing an environmentally friendly anti-corrosion coating called Greenkote, which is comparable to galvanising, although it is harder wearing and readily accepts all paint systems. Learn more about Greenkote.
