The Kids’ Cancer Charity provides vital therapy for both children with cancer and their families, particularly vital when palliative care is needed! They also provide care breaks for families allowing them to regroup after loss, provide time and space for reflection and to help process the complex emotions of grief. The holidays in effect give the gift of valuable time together, providing respite, time to exhale, an opportunity to recharge and soothe.
They give a family the chance to create valuable lasting memories and open a world of possibility when all around can seen hopeless. Kids Cancer Charity arranges around 250 such holidays in the UK every year and sends about 45 families to Disney World in Orlando.
