New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Completed

Tottenham Hotspur celebrated the opening of their new £1bn stadium with a victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The new stadium provides Tottenham with state-of-the-art facilities and has a capacity of 62,062, making it one of the largest stadiums in country.

Tension Control Bolts Ltd have supplied over 100,000 M30 bolts and studs to Severfield for the main structural steelwork of the stadium, and approximately 20,000 M24 bolts to other contractors which were used in the steel trays for the pioneering interchangeable grass and synthetic pitches.

Tottenham Hotspur’s new iconic Golden Cockerel – a scaled-up replica of the original that once sat on top of White Hart Lane – is also bolted to the top of the South Stand with M20 TCBs.

Our bolts have been installed in many new Premier League stadium developments, including the Main Stand expansion at Anfield for Liverpool, the Etihad Stadium for Manchester City, St James’ Park for Newcastle United, and The Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal.
